Brecon Beacons 2013.
We stayed at Llanddeusant YHA, which was a great little hostel, with a really friendly and helpful Warden.

The Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team came and gave us a talk on the Friday night. It was really interesting and informative, and we really enjoyed the tour of your vehicle - thanks guys!

On Saturday, we walked out of the hostel to Fan Brycheiniog in search of a crashed Anson aeroplane. The weather was a bit grim - wet and windy with low visibility, and we didn't find the aeroplane! The return walk to the hostel was lovely though, as the weather improved. We even saw some blue sky (and Red Kites.)

On Sunday we found the remains of the Wellington on Carreg Goch, but again the weather was wet and miserable. We still managed to enjoy ourselves though despite the weather!

Thanks to Sarah and Caroline, we enjoyed great food over the weekend too - you can come again next year!!
